Introducing the Bass face Indy M. Developed in our own facility here in the UK by our new engineering team. This is a brand new design - not a single part of the Indy M is carried over from previous models. Starting with a blank sheet of paper we designed everything to offer the best possible reliability and performance for the price point. Many prototypes were made and modified along with a tremendous amount of reliability testing undertaken to ensure outstanding longevity. Using custom designed coils and spiders tuned to each exact model we were able to develop for excellent reliability and performance while implementing measures to increase the frequency response. These are great for small or large door builds in the car or studio in a 2 way mid top box with an appropriate tweeter and crossover. The large high temperature voice coil with integrated Faraday Ring on the VC is supported by a dual roll treated cloth surround and a heavy duty cloth spider. A dimpled textured surface to the cone acts to increase the effective piston area in turn moving more air, creating more SPL. For keen enthusiasts looking for a lightweight and accurate sounding Speaker the Indy M offers tremendous bandwidth, musicality and surprisingly good mid bass performance. It also has excellent detailed documentation making it easy to set up and use, as well as allowing the construction of more advanced projects. We firmly believe that this is one of the best midrange speakers in its class.

Version History

Indy M concept was designed to offer an all-round high performance midrange device at a reasonable price point. The new engineering team drew up a wish list of specification points and made several prototypes before settling on the current basket, motor and cone layouts. From there detail changes were made to almost every aspect of the basic design focussing on each detail. Performance was optimised to allow the driver to run well in almost any application. The Indy M branding was originally conceived in mid-2019, with outline specifications in place by the end of that year. Prototypes were built throughout 2020 and first production models were made available Q3 2021
