The "ordinary" DB2.1 has been evolved into a great sounding and reliable little amplifier but there exists a gap between it and the monsterous DB2.2 which this fantastic new product fills squarely. With 50% more power than the standard DB2.1 the DB2.1s has enough grunt to run big component speakers with ease or even a decent sized subwoofer with authority. The DB2.1s still maintains a compact footprint, relative lightweight and excellent efficiency but the output is much more beefy than its smaller brother. Upgrades that have taken time to bring to the earlier models are applied right away to this "s" model - including professional type cable connection blocks, rounded feet, cushioned backplate and higher density casting.

Version History

V1 – The DB2.1s uses all of the refinements present in the V5 DB2.1 but with 50% more output. The heatsink is slightly larger and is made from denser material to absorb the extra heat. Released to market on time, Q3 2017. Note that shipments leaving our warehouse prior to 08/02/18 have the wrong barcode on the outer packing. Barcode should be: 683422302077. This will be corrected in the V2 order.
